Here at Keypoint we have found that RBS/Nat West deal with all PPI complaints they receive in the same way. They always respond with a standard offer of £750. Don’t be fobbed off by this. You could be entitled to so much more as we have found with many of our clients.
let us know if anyone else has experienced this.

I tried to reclaim my insurance premiums and got the £750 offer which of course I took. I then looked at my loan agreement and found out I paid over £1000 with interest. The bank now says my file is closed and I can’t do anything because I accepted their first offer! I wish I had seen your website before I accepted!
Yes I have a claim going through at the moment, I took a loan out with RBS over a 4yr period and they had added ppi insurance on to my loan and RBS have offerd me £750 saying this is all they owe me when I have worked out it is much more!!!
I tried to claim 6 months ago, Was told Loanguard insurance was not a PPI policy like the ones that are taken on by the claims companys. Was given a £20.00 credit on my account, but was billed £25 for a letter that brought my account in to overdraft and was charged for that also.
Was informed that if i continue to address the Loanguard issue with the rbs they would close my account and recall the entire amount of the oustanding loan £6,5040, this would also affect my credit rating.
Man on phone also informed me a company called Triton credit services would take over the loan should there be any further issues with regards to this.
The loanguard is still running on the account as i have passed the 14 days cancel period.
