Endowment Mis-selling - Testimonials

Testimonials

Don't just take our word for it. Here's what some of our clients say about our service.

Mr & Mrs Keynes from Caerphilly

Mr & Mrs Keynes from Caerphilly took out four endowment policies between 1983 & 1989, on the advice of a firm of solicitors. Three were with Standard Life and one with Friends Provident. They were not advised of the risk that the endowments could fail to repay their mortgage in full. Two of the policies also mature after the Keynes' retirement. To date, three of the four complaints made have been successful and they have so far been awarded £947.17 in compensation. The Keynes were very impressed with the level of support they received from Keypoint, describing it as 'an excellent, quick service'.

Mr & Mrs Fenton from the East Riding of Yorkshire

Mr & Mrs Fenton from the East Riding of Yorkshire took out a £12,235 endowment policy in 1989, over a term of 21 years, with Standard Life.

Other repayment options were discussed with Mr & Mrs Fenton; however, the endowment was heavily promoted as the best option. They did try to complain before contacting Keypoint but without any success.

The original offer from Standard Life was £554.51. Again using Mortgage Fundamentals, Keypoint were able to determine that the amount offered was incorrect and should be revised. Keypoint were successful in obtaining £6841.59 in compensation, a massive £6287.08 increase on the previous offer.

Mrs Pollard from Bedfordshire

Mrs Pollard took out a policy over a term of 25 years. When she found out she was facing a substantial shortfall, she called her provider who argued that she had not been mis-sold the policy.

Mrs Pollard called Keypoint as she believed she was indeed mis-sold the policy and had consequently suffered a shortfall that would affect her future financial plans. She has now received full compensation of £5066.44. Mrs Pollard said: 'Some people say that you don't need help to make a claim, but you do. Keypoint put the case together in a way I couldn't have done myself and they didn't accept the first offer, they got me more. It was well worth doing and I'm really glad I went to Keypoint'.
